Children’s Day is celebrated around the world on November 20. However, in India, it is celebrated on November 14, the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. The day is celebrated as Children’s Day because Pandit Nehru cared a lot for children.
