The technique to learn atomic masses of elements according to the periodic table?

Answer. The atomic mass is double the atomic number of an element. But it is not applicable for all the elements in the periodic table. The atomic masses of elements like He, Li, C, N, O, Ne, Si, S, Cl, Ca are double the atomic number. The atomic masses of elements like Be, B, F, Na, Mg, Al, P, Ar and K are not double the atomic number. For these elements just double the atomic number and add 1

For your grade you need to remember atomic masses of first 20 elements. For these elements just double the atomic number and add 1. Try to practice every day …..

Usually element (till calcium) atomic mass is just double of its atomic number like at. no. of oxygen is 8 and its atomic mass is 16. But elements like Li,Be,B,F,Na,Al,P,Cl,Ar &,K has atomic mass = Atomic number * 2 +1 example Al = atomic num. *2 + 1                    =  13*2+1   = 27 nad this is its atomic mass.  Thus , you need to remember only these elements like  Li,Be,B etc . and then you can find the atomic mass of these elements easily . { hope u hav learned all the atomic numbers numbers ;) :) ;) }
