Ans: Combustion:

The oxidation reaction in which high amount of heat is produced called as combustion.

In general fuels like petrol, diesel, Liquefied petroleum gas undergoes combustion to produce large amount of heat.  During combustion these fuels reacts with oxygen and releases carbon dioxide gas.

Burning:

The combustion reaction during which flame is produced along with heat is called as burning.
