1)the temperature range of clinical thermometers is from 35 to 42 degree centigrade while that of laboratory thermometer is from -10 to 110 degree centigrade. 2)clinical thermometer is used to measure the temperature of a human body.however, laboratory thermometer cannot be used to measure the temperature of a human body.

Their complexion is different . Clinical thermometer - It is used only for humans . It's range is about 35℃ to 45℃. It's a very complex thermometer. It's having a very sensitive bulb at the end.Clinical thermometers are having constriction at bulb which stops the mercury to come back on its own place Laboratory thermometer - It is used especially in chemical laboratories . It is used to measure hotness of chemicals .

A geostationary satellite is an earth-orbiting satellite, placed at an altitude of approximately 35,800 kilometers directly over the equator, that revolves in the same direction the earth rotates (west to east).
Uses: Direct broadcast TV, Communication network, Defence and intelligence, global positioning or GPS - which is used for satellite navigation systems
Advantage: The satellite remains in the same position throughout the day, and antennas can be directed towards the satellite and remain on track.

A polar orbiting satellite closely parallels the earth's meridian lines, thus having a highly inclined orbit close to 90°. It passes over the north and south poles each revolution. As the earth rotates to the east beneath the satellite, each pass monitors an area to the west of the previous pass at intervals of roughly 90 to 100 minutes. These strips can be pieced together to produce a picture of a larger area.
Uses: monitoring the weather, observing the Earth’s surface, military uses including spying
Advantage Polar satellites have the advantage of photographing clouds directly beneath them. They also circle at a much lower altitude (about 850 km) providing more detailed information about violent storms and cloud systems.

Clinical thermometer-This thermometer is used in clinics and at home to measure body temperature .This shows the temperature in celcius and in Fahrenheit . Laboratory thermometer - This thermometer is available in laboratory consist of a long ,thin ,uniform glass tube selected at one end ,with a bulb filled with a liqued at one end .

CLINICAL THERMOMETER: It is used to measure the temperature of our body.
            LENGTH: Shorter about 10cm.

LABORATORY THERMOMETER: It is used in schools and other laborataries
for scientific research and for industrial purposes.
             LENGTH: About 30cm.

Difference between a laboratory thermometer and a clinical thermometer is that 1-Laboratory thermometer has no kink inside it where as a clinical thermometer consists of a kink 2- laboratory thermometer is used to measure the temperature of various objects whereas clinical thermometer is used to measure the human body temperature. 3- the range of a laboratory thermometer is -10°C to 110°C and the range of the clinical thermometer is 35°C to 42°C 4- laboratory thermometer is used in laboratories and clinical thermometer is used in homes

Clinical Thermometer: Clinical thermometer can measure a range of 35 degree Celsius to 42 degree celseus. and thus can't use to measure object with temprature higher or lower than it. Clinical thermometer had a u bend tube called kink which stops the mercury's back flow into bulb, thus it is use to measure the temprature of HUMAN BODY.

laboratory thermometers: This type of thermometers doesn't cointain kink for stoping backflow of mercury into bulb, it can measure temprature from 10 degree celsius to 110 degree celsius thus it can used to measure the temprature of other articles
