2017 NDA 1 results declared

The results of the first edition of the written entrance exam for National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) for this year have been declared. The candidates can access their results on the official website of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at www.upsc.gov.in/exams-related-info/written-result.

The exam was conducted on April 23, 2017, across India, at 41 test centres to fill 390 vacancies at NDA and NA.

Candidates who have qualified the test can register on the recruiting website of the Indian Army at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, within two weeks of the announcement of the result. They will then be communicated the dates and selection centres allotted to them for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview, on their registered email addresses. They will have to submit original educational and age certificates to the respective SSBs at the time of interview.

The SSB interviews will commence from January 2, 2018. Conducted over five days, the tests will include two phases. Picture Perception and Description, besides Officer Intelligence Rating, will form part of Phase 1, whereas psychology tests, conferences, group tasks and interviews will be included in Phase 2. Results will be available approximately 15 days after the conclusion of the SSB interviews, on the UPSC’s website.

The NDA 2 exam is scheduled for September 10 and its results expected to be declared in October 2017.
