INFORMAL LETTERS

Informal letters are the letters written to friends, parents, relatives and acquaintances.
They are written in a simple, familiar and informal style.

Parts of  an Informal letter:


1. Address of the writer: It is written on the top left hand side corner.
2. Date: Below the address.
3. Salutation: It is a form of greeting and written below the date
4. Body of the letter:The opening sentence should be either in response to earlier communication or reference to the subject of the letter. The closing  sentence rounds off the subject matter or conveys love and respec to family members.
5. Subscription: It is courteous leave taking.
6. Signature: Bottom left hand side corner and below the subscription.
