Adjectives - Introduction

Adjectives usually precede the noun or pronoun they modify. Adjectives do not have toagree in number or gender with the nouns they describe. Adjectives answer the following questions: What kind?, How many?, or Which ones?

Example:
Tina bought a new car. ( New describes what kind of car Tina bought.)

Saradha baked ten large cake for the school bake sale.(Large tells how many cakes.She baked.)

Binu climbed that tree in the backyard. (that specifies which tree Binu climbed.)

There is a large park near my house.(What kind?)

A rose is a beautiful flower.(What Kind?)
