Notes On Simple Future Tense - CBSE Class 8 English Grammar

The simple future refers to a time later than now, and expresses facts or certainty.

Example:
Maduri will go to the Museum tomorrow.

In the above sentence Maduri intend for tomorrow’s visit to the Museum. In short, this sentence express actions which will be done in future.

The simple future is used:

1.To predict a future event:
     It will rain tomorrow.

2.With I or We, to express a spontaneous decision:
     I'll pay for hostel fees.

3.To express willingness:.
    They
'll carry your luggage for you.

4.In the negative form, to express unwillingness:
    Prem won't eat noodles.

5.With I in the interrogative form using "shall", to make an offer:
    Shall I get some milk for you?

6.With you, to give orders:
    You
will do exactly as I say.

7.With you in the interrogative form, to give an invitation:
    Will you go to the party tonight?
    Will you come to market with me?

Rules: Auxiliary verb “will” is used in sentence. 1st form of verb or base form is used as main verb in sentence.
