West Bengal not to hold separate medical entrance test

The West Bengal government will not conduct a medical entrance exam separate from the national entrance-cum-eligibility test (NEET). This followed the central government’s announcement that Bengali question papers for the NEET will be translations of the English papers.

Earlier, some people had said that the question papers in English this year were easier than the regional language ones. As a result, not many candidates from West Bengal could clear the exam, according to them.
