Philippines Edtech Startup Secures Funding

Edukasyon.ph, a leading edtech company in the Philippines, recently confirmed the closure of its Series A financing round. In a bid to transform higher education through innovation, the company received funding to expand its educational initiatives. Several Asian and European investors such as EduLab Capital Partners, Obunsha Ventures, Alternate Ventures, Foxmont Capital Partners, Lorinet Foundation, French Partners, First Asia Venture Capital and KSR Ventures joined in this round and invested in this young and promising company. 

Since its inception in 2015, Edukasyon.ph has been offering an extensive range of online courses and scholarships to about 10 million users annually. It aims to empower the Filipino youth and help them find suitable career opportunities. 

According to its CEO and founder, Henry Motte-Muñoz, this initial investment will bolster their efforts to reach out to more users and create meaningful engagements with each of them. Moreover, it will deepen their focus on product development.
