Government portal to offer education technologies using artificial intelligence for personalised learning

In an offer to make adaptive learning technologies accessible to all the Centre is planning to launch a new scheme in partnership with companies using artificial intelligence to make learning more personalised and customised as per the learner’s requirements.

On Thursday, in a statement, the MHRD Ministry said that start-ups which joins the government platform must offer 25% free coupons for students from disadvantaged communities. MHRD will act as a facilitator and will ensure that a large number of students get the solution free of cost. It will create a platform with NEAT so that all the students can easily access the learning technologies.

EdTech companies will be responsible for developing solutions and managing the registration of learners through the NEAT portal. This will make education technologies for all hence contributing a major role in terms of growth for future generations.
