Results declared for second round of JoSAA 2017

The second round of results have been declared for seat allotment by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2017 on the official website. Candidates successful in JEE Mains 2017 and JEE Advance 2017 are eligible for the second round of seat allotment through JoSAA. An autonomous body established by the union ministry of Human Resource Development, JoSAA conducts counselling for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other leading institutions in India for education in engineering.

More than 36,000 candidates were covered under the second round. More than 29,000 allotted seats have been accepted by candidates. Around 6,800 seats are still vacant.

Following the second round, the candidates will be given 1-2 days to accept or withdraw from the allotment.

Those not satisfied with the second round can apply for the third round of allotment of seats, for which the results are to be declared on July 7.
